Underwater bonding with Scigrip SG300 structural adhesive
BNS Industrial supplies Scigrip SG300 to bond metals, composites and most plastics. The bond is highly fatigue and impact resistant, with lap shear strengths of 15-17 MPa.
SG300 can be applied underwater, as you can see in the short video. The curing takes place underwater, without compromising the strength of the bond.
When working outside in rainy conditions, you can continue bonding substrates. This unique characteristic is a big advantage for many of our customers that work on site.
